Jonathan Blanck
Blanck

Saxophonist, keyboardist, composer/arranger, recording artist, and educator, Jon Blanck graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies. He has arranged for artists such as Joe Perry, Joan Jett, Stevie Wonder, and Michael J. Fox, as well as the popular TV show Showtime at the Apollo. His arrangements have appeared on networks such as ABC, NBC, PBS, ESPN2 and FOX. Additionally, Jon is in demand for professionally hand-tuning vocals and sound design. He has assisted with production and engineering for performers such as The Verve Jazz Ensemble, Andy Daps, Those Guys, and for shows such as Connecticut Got Sax. Jon has recorded on over 40 albums with artists/networks including The Verve Jazz Ensemble, PBS, Peter Bernstein, Funkee Boy, and Sandoval Band.
